Samsung has broken tradition with this smartphone, launching the new flagship phone from the Note family with 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch versions to meet the needs and tastes of more users and a popular tab for people with smaller hands. The body’s metal structure thickness at the right and left edges does not exceed 2 mm. - Despite Samsung's efforts to remove the frame and make the phone thinner than the previous generation (7.9 vs. 8.8mm), and improve the user interface, Galaxy Note 10 Plus is not a good one-handed device.
- The large size of the phone makes you have to move your hand or use the other hand to reach the upper areas of the screen. This also applies to using the left or right volume keys.
- Galaxy Note 10 Plus is 10g lighter than the OnePlus 7 Pro (196 vs. 206g), despite having a larger screen (6.8 vs. 6.67 inches) and a bigger battery (4300 vs. 4000mAh). Therefore, the weight might be better.
- Another huge difference between Galaxy Note 10 Plus and the previous generation and Galaxy S10 is the removal of the standalone power key and its integration with the Bixby key on the left edge of the frame, below the sound keys. Pressing the new key once turns on the screen or locks the device; but Samsung allows for the personalization of the dual key or long key mode.
- Fortunately, a non-Bixby app invocation can be selected for each of these modes; for example, you can call up the power menu by a long press on the key and enter the camera or any other desired application by a double press on the key. In the notification center’s quick settings, there is also a shortcut to link the power menu. The location of the Note 10 Plus power key is also convenient, as it is easily accessible.

- The fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy Note 10 Plus is slightly higher than the sample used in Galaxy S10 Plus due to the relatively large size of the phone. This ultrasonic sensor creates a 3D fingerprint model; therefore, the Koreans’ claims provide greater accuracy and security.
- The fingerprint identification process of the sensor is slightly longer than conventional samples; but after the fingerprint registration process is completed, the user authentication takes place faster. The author believes that the OnePLus 7Pro optical sensor works faster than the one used in Galaxy Note 10 Plus.
- In addition to the fingerprint sensor located under the screen, Galaxy Note 10 also has the ability to authenticate through face recognition. However, due to the omission of the iris sensor, this entire process is done as a program based on information from the selfie camera. Therefore, its security can not be guaranteed.
